BE INVOLVED WITH FIRST STEPS DERBY

There are lots of different ways that people can support our work, it may be through giving donations, organising a fundraising event or by becoming a volunteer. It may be a listening ear for someone who has nobody else to talk to and needs hope and encouragement. Every hour that you give to us goes towards helping someone affected by an eating disorder. SUPPORT SERVICE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Reflections DVD In collaboration with Mick Cole Films, Compassionate Mind Foundation, Derbyshire & Leicestershire NHS the service recievers of First Steps Derby have produced a powerful film to raise awareness and understanding of this complex mental health illness. “A Brilliant documentary – it really makes you realise the effect the illness has on people’s lives” “I thought eating disorders were just a diet fad, now I understand that they are much more serious” “Suitable for all ages to understand the impact of eating disorders”
